As an Account Assistant, you will support the financial department by managing daily accounting and financial tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
•Posting and processing journal entries, updating accounts receivable and payable, and assisting in the preparation
of financial statements and reports
•Verifying and maintaining the accuracy of daily transactions and vend records
•Issuing invoices and posting bills in a timely and accurate manner
•Checking and following up on accounts receivable and payable
•Performing month-end close activities, including reconciliations and accruals
•Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
•Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
•Preparing VAT tax returns and filings
•Managing the company cash and cheque flow.
Efficient order entry processes.
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
•5-6 years of experience in accounting or a related field
•Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
•Maintaining accurate sales invoicing.
•Preparing all deliveries correctly
•Daily & Monthly reports as required
•Planning & managing of invoicing and deliveries.
•Cash and cheque management
•Processing of bank-related transactions
•Recording transactions in the accounting Tally software
•Preparing monthly summary reports through the system
•Assisting in VAT returns filing
