Job Purpose:
The accountant is responsible to manage accounting transactions and prepare financial reports based on accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations.
Job Description - Principal Accountabiliti Results Area:
Accounting:
Prepare applications of the Letter of Credit (LC’s) & Letter of Guarantee (LG’s) and following up with the bank
Release payments for all suppliers
Release payments for employees i.e. periderms
Prepare bank reconciliation on monthly basis
Book all payments on the system
Book intercompany transactions
Book suppliers’ bills
Any other transactions
Comply with accounting standards and regulations
Reporting:
Following up on expired Letter of Guarantee (LG’s) to release or extend expiry date and keeping track of all LG’s
Daily cash position report
Weekly collection report
Weekly facility report
Any other report
