KEY SKILLS:
• Must have Bachelor’s Degree or Professional License (CPA, CMA, ACCA, AICPA)
• Must have a year of experience in accounting, auditing, consultancy, or any similar role based in the UAE
• Strong working knowledge of Zoho books (preferably) or other online systems
• Sound knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles (GAAP/IFRS)
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-e close process
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Pro-active mentality
• Strong ability in English writing and help with word processing when necessary
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Performing admin tasks such as answering enquiries and resolving issues from clients by phone and email
• Reconciling the company’s bank statements
• Monitoring of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Preparing invoices, statements of accounts and recording of supplier invoices
• Analyze all transactions, prepare journal entries, and maintain the ledger
• Preparing of Balance sheet, Profit and Loss statement, and other reports monthly, quarterly, and annually
• Filing of VAT Return as per UAE Law
• Coordinating and Assisting the External Auditor
