An air-conditioning maintenance services company is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate must be able to perform the following tasks:
•Maintaining the billing system
•Generating invoices and account statements
•Assisting in general financial management and analysis
•Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
•Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
•Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
•Investigate and verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues
•Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
•Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
•Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
•Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
•Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner
•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
•Minimum 5 years of overall experience in the same role, of which 3 years must be of UAE experience, preferably in a maintenance or technical services company
•Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills
•High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
•Attention to detail
•Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments
