*Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues or needed repairs.
*Repair or replace faulty components in vehicles, such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
*Maintain accurate records of all services and repairs performed on vehicles.
*Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and advancements through ongoing training and professional development.
*Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
*Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses and recommended repairs.
*Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving any issues.
*Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
*High school diploma or equivalent.
*Completion of an automotive technology program or apprenticeship.
*Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is highly desirable.
*Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto mechanic.
*Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
*Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
*Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
*Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
*Good communication and customer service skills.
*Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
