Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong understanding of the car rental industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in vendor onboarding, new client acquisition, and driving business growth. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, identifying opportunities, and expanding our customer base in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Industry Expertise: Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the car rental business, market trends, and industry best practices.
• Vendor Onboarding: Manage the onboarding of new vendors and partners, ensuring smooth integration and collaboration.
• Client Acquisition & Retention: Lead efforts to acquire new clients, build strong relationships with existing customers, and ensure maximum business share from each client.
• Lead Generation: Proactively generate interest from potential clients through networking, cold calling, and targeted outreach. Schedule and conduct meetings with decision-makers to present company offerings.
• Business Growth & Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and service offerings.
• Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date on industry developments, competitor activities, and customer trends to continuously refine sales tactics and business strategies.
• Sales Strategy: Create and implement innovative sales strategies, demand generation campaigns, and promotional activities to meet business goals and drive growth.
Required Qualifications:
• Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in the car rental business, with a strong background in business development, client acquisition, and vendor management.
• Driving License: Must possess a valid Bahraini driving license for a four-wheeler.
• Education: A degree is required, with a preference for candidates holding a B TECH or MBA.
• ERP Knowledge: Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., MS Excel, Google Spreadsheets).
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential for effective client interaction and collaboration.
• Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to successfully close deals and build long-term partnerships.
• Customer Acquisition: Proven success in acquiring new customers and fostering long-term relationships.
