Responsible for the 24/7 oepration, maintenance adn repair pf the Building Chilled Water Plant (CWP) including chillers, pumps, controls, chemical treatment systems and communication with the Chiller Plant Manager (CPM).
1. Experience in using computer-based building management systems to manage and troubleshoot HVAC Systems.
2. Experience working in Daikin Chillers.
3. Thorough knowledge of operational & maintenance procedures for mechanical, electrical plumbing, structural and envelope of commercial and industrial facilities.
4. Knowledge of engineering concepts related to energy efficiency, optimization and conservation (metering prefered).
5. Minimum 10 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of Mid-range (1000) ton CWP including repairs and schedule tear downs of chillers, pumps, etc.
6. Minimum 5 years of experiencew successfully supervising a crew of mechanics.
7. Must possess strong interpersonal & communication skills & excellent customer service within a diverse organization.
8. The CWP is the eyes & ears oh him during off hours and communication with other shift technicians is critical.
