Our Company is a [indust. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems.
Responsibilities:
System Monitoring:
Monitor computer systems for errors, failures, and irregularities.
Respond promptly to system alerts and take appropriate actions.
Data Entry and Processing:
Enter and verify data into computer systems accurately.
Process and manipulate data as needed, ensuring data integrity.
Batch Processing:
Execute and monitor batch processing jobs.
Ensure the timely completion of scheduled tasks.
Job Scheduling:
Schedule and coordinate computer tasks and job queues.
Optimize job sequences for efficient system performance.
Hardware and Software Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
Work with IT support to address more complex technical problems.
Backup and Recovery:
Perform regular data backups and ensure the integrity of backup systems.
Assist in data recovery efforts as needed.
Doentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date doentation of computer operations.
Doent procedures for routine tasks and issue resolution.
Security Compliance:
Adhere to security protocols and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Monitor and report any security breaches or vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Computer Operator or in a similar role.
Knowledge of computer systems, operations, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with batch processing and job scheduling.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
