We are currently seeking a customer-focused and energetic Counter Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, processing sales transactions, and providing excellent service at our counter.
Responsibilities:
Customer Assistance:
Greet customers promptly and assist them with product inquiries and purchases.
Provide product recommendations based on customer needs.
Order Processing:
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Handle cash and card transactions and provide correct change.
Product Knowledge:
Stay informed about product features, specifications, and promotions.
Offer detailed information to customers and address any questions.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels at the counter.
Restock products and ensure the availability of popular items.
Cross-Selling:
Suggest complementary products and upsell when appropriate.
Maximize sales opportunities by promoting related items.
Customer Relations:
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Address customer concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Cash Handling:
Handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
Reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift.
Merchandising:
Keep the counter area clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Set up displays to showcase featured products.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in a customer service or retail sales role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and handle fast-paced environments.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
