Key Responsibilities:
Review project specifications, drawings, and tender doents to determine project scope.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for aluminum and metal works, including materials, labor, and overheads.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations.
Develop cost-effective solutions and alternative proposals to optimize project budgets.
Ensure timely submission of tenders, proposals, and cost breakdowns.
Collaborate with project managers, sales, and production teams to finalize estimates.
Maintain an updated database of material costs and market trends.
Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for cost control.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in estimation within the aluminum and metal industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, ERP systems, and estimation software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
