Job Description

Position: Full-Time
Industry: Physical Commodity Trading

The Financial Controller will oversee the financial management and reporting of the company. Key responsibilities include:
1.Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial statements, management reports, and forecasts.
2.Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with company objectives.
3.Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial practices.
4.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency, credit, and market risks related to commodity trading.
5.Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company’s liquidity, ensuring operational and trading activities are adequately funded.
6.Audit Coordination: Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate audits.
7.Team Leadership: Supervise the finance team, providing guidance and ensuring high performance.
8.Strategic Input: Contribute to financial strategies, supporting the company’s growth and trading operations.
9.Cost Control: Analyze and control trading and operational costs to maximize profitability.
10.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with traders, management, and external partners to align financial goals with business strategies.


Candidate Requirements

Qualifications:
•CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification.
•Experience in commodity trading or similar industries preferred.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Proficiency in financial software and systems.
