- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Schedule projects and define budget constraints
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand
- Responsible for creative design and have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite- primarily InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere.
- Work directly with Digital Marketing Manager to prepare a social media plan, timelines, and priorities for Clients.
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic, test graphics across various media, amend designs after feedback and ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Understanding of marketing, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
- Combines art and technology to communicate sales and marketing plans through images and the layout of the website and printed material.
- Uses a variety of design elements to achieve artistic or decorative effects such as the software type, font, size, color, and line length of headlines, headings, and text.
- Decides on how images and text will go together on a print or webpage, including how much space each will have.
- Maintain a database of artwork on the shared folder for a referral.
- Advises on concepts the design should portray to identify Media Heist identity and to convey desired messages to target audience or customers thus increasing market share.
- Develops agreed-on designs and artwork utilizing available tools taking into consideration necessary aspects related to cost, quality, colors, images, etc.
- develops text, images, and graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites; selects colors, images, text style, and layout and presents the design for management’s approval.
- Collaborates closely with Marketing & Corporate Communications team to facilitate the communication of simp ideas through the use of images, text, and color; transforms statistical data into visual graphics and diagrams.
- Ensures artwork and products developed are in conformity with agreed quality standards and in compliance with the company’s guiding principles.
- Incorporates changes recommended by management into the final designs before printing or publishing thru proper channels.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field
- Arab Nationalities only
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design
- Familiarity with design software and technologies such as - Adobe Suite CC, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, 2D, 3D & 4D animations and motion graphics; Adobe after effect video composition, Adobe Premiere – Video editing.
- Proven experience in graphic design, social media, Logos, Branding, and Corporate Identity
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- A strong eye for visual composition and details
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
