Main Duties & Responsibilities
(Not limited to)Network Support
•Monitor and maintain local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).
•Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, routing, and firewall configurations.
•Install, configure, and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and access points.
•Perform regular network security checks and updates.Hardware Support
•Set up and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other hardware.
•Diagnose and repair hardware malfunctions.
•Manage inventory and track hardware assets.
•Collaborate with vendors for hardware procurement and warranty services.Helpdesk & IT Support
•Provide frontline technical support to end users via phone, email, and ticketing system.
•Resolve software, network, and hardware issues promptly.
•Doent and escalate complex issues to relevant IT teams as needed.
•Assist with software installations, updates, and general troubleshooting.
•Educate users on best practices for IT and security.IT Operations
•Participate in routine system checks and maintenance.
•Support the IT team in rolling out software updates, security patches, and backups.
•Contribute to process doentation and improvement efforts.
Basic QualificationDegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
ExperienceMinimum 2-3 years in an IT support role, with hands-on experience in networking and hardware maintenance.
Knowledge & ExperienceOperating Systems: Proficient in Windows environments.Productivity Software: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Cloud Platforms: Experience with Microsoft Azure administration and management.Networking: Proficient with network troubleshooting tools and methods.Hardware: Skilled in hardware diagnostics and repair.Directory Services: Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management.Remote Support & Ticketing: Experience with remote support software and ticketing systems.Security Tools: Knowledge of antivirus, anti-malware, and basic cybersecurity practices.
