Job Summary:
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations while serving as the first point of contact for customers in our retail shop. This dual role requires a professional with strong accounting expertise and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure seamless financial management and positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting software such as Focus ERP, QuickBooks, able to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced retail setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting Duties:
•Manage full cycle accounting tasks, including accounts payab, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
•Prepare accurate financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements) and present insights to management.
•Process payroll, track employee hours, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
•Reconcile daily sales transactions and monitor inventory records for accuracy.
•Maintain shop financial records and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
•Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Focus ERP) to streamline processes and resolve discrepancies.
2. Sales Reception & Customer Service Duties:
•Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide produ information.
•Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently using POS systems.
•Maintain a tidy, welcoming store environment and assist in merchandising displays.
•Address customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
•Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Prior experience in retail accounting or inventory management.
•Familiarity with Focus ERP.
•Proficient in English language.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•Essential:
o3+ years of hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Focus ERP) as a top priority.
oProven ability to manage accounting tasks independently with minimal supervision.
oStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
oExcellent verb communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration.
oProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and POS systems.
