We are looking for a responsible and dedicated Office Boy to join our team. The Office Boy is responsible for assisting with various administrative and day-to-day tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office. The ideal candidate should be well-organized, efficient, and possess excellent time management skills. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing doents.
- Maintain and organize office supplies by checking inventory and placing orders as needed.
- Keep the office clean and tidy by regularly cleaning and arranging workstations and common areas.
- Ensure the reception area is presentable by greeting and assisting guests, if required.
- Distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries to the appropriate recipients.
- Assisting in setting up meeting rooms and preparing necessary materials for meetings.
- Run errands, such as purchasing office supplies or delivering doents to other departments.
- Assist with basic IT tasks, such as setting up and troubleshooting equipment.
- Support other administrative staff with various tasks as requested.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as an Office Boy or in a similar role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment and computer systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items if required.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in completing tasks.
- Knowledge of local area for running errands is advantageous.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate occasional evening or weekend duties.
