We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Office Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our office facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to providing a pristine work environment. As an Office cleaner, you will be responsible for performing regular cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing. The goal is to ensure a clean and hygienic office space for employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas, such as conference rooms, break rooms, and reception areas
- Restock and maintain janitorial supplies inventory
- Keep an inventory of cleaning equipment, report any malfunction, and request repairs or replacements when necessary
- Follow proper safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
- Notify management of any repairs or maintenance needed
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Cleaner or similar role
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment usage
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Physical stamina and ability to handle repetitive tasks
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience in office or commercial cleaning
- Familiarity with using cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and dusters
- Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals
- Basic communication skills in English to effectively communicate with team members
