•Oversee all purchasing activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of quality products.
•Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms and reliable delivery schedules.
•Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to prevent shortages.
•Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best pricing and terms.
•Coordinate with the kitchen and operations teams to understand their requirements and ensure supplies meet their needs.
•Implement and monitor purchasing policies, procedures, and standards.
•Analyze market trends and keep up to date with product developments and changes.
•Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance.
•Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
•Proven experience in a purchasing role, preferably within the catering or hospitality industry.
•Strong negotiation and communication skills.
•Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
•Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
•Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is a plus.
