An MEP Contracting company is looking for an experienced Procurement Officer with the following Job descriptions and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Colle material requirements from Project site
- Prepare all required documentation for each purchase order.
- Checking of the necessary material specification & approved brands from concerned project team.
- Expedite delivery schedules as per project requirements.
- Receive Issue Notes & Goods Received Notes from Store incharge and submit report to Purchasing Manager
- Entries of Good received notes
- Checking rates received from supplier and comparing them to previous purchase and alloted budget
- Selecting qualified supplier as per Authori specifi materials, rates, stock availability, and delivery time
- Establish maintain working contact with sales and vendor representatives as required.
- Arrange material deliveries by coordinating with suppliers, store & drivers
- Prepares Local Purchase Order using the company ERP software
- Prepare written inquiries or obtain verbal or written correspondence in compliance with the specifications from prospect suppliers.
- Filing, organizing & maintaining of purchase related documents such as LPO, invoices, receipts, goods received notes and etc.
- Prepares weekly report of warehouse's issue notes and returns
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 2-3+ years of experience as Purchase Executive or related role preferably in an MEP Contracting company
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
- Good skill in MS office Application and Hands-on experience with purchasing software
- Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, focused, organised, and teamwork attitude.
- High degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Negotiation skills.
