Setting clear work strategies and a written policy for risk management
Be cognizant of all operational, credit, market and other internal and external risks facing Tamweel. Develop a strategy for identifying and reporting these risks to senior management and relevant departments
Be well versed with the Risk Manual and the policies and guidelines related to grading major and minor risks
Develop processes for Key control self-assessment and operational self-assessment according to the Risk Manual
Assess and mitigate risks related to outsourcing functions
Preparing the risk reports and placing them within a compressive framework that includes the early identification of risks
Ensuring the effectiveness of the internal control procedures
Supervising the monitoring of the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal control system and its ability to combat the risks that may hinder the achievement of the objectives
Proactively anticipating market changes and recommend changes to target market, risk acceptance criteria and processes;
Modifying and updating the risk record based on the resulting changes throughout the review year
Immediately coordinating with the company board and the risk and credit committee when needed
Performs other related duties and assignments as directed
