The Safety Officer is to ensure all the workers at the construction site are working in a safe environment and are following all correct safety procedures.
Carry out regular and random site inspections to identify and prevent workplace hazards.
Promote and maintain a continuous improvement in Safety culture.
Preparation and Submission of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Ensure if accidents, injuries & near misses occur, they are investigated, reported, and advised on how to avoid a similar situation.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
Monitor all construction activities to ensure the safe system of work is being practiced by the construction team.
Work permit system to be implemented, and permits to be properly filled up, and the closing of permits.
All employees working in the site with proper PPE as per the nature of the work.
Develop and implement Safety Training Programs in various subjects according to the job safety requirements at all levels.
All lifting activities to be monitored and carried out as per the lifting plan.
Ensure proper access is provided and clear from obstructions.
Minimum 2 Years of experience in a building construction company in UAE
