Job Description:

Position Overview: The Sales Promoter in the pharmaceutical industry is responsible for promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals. This role involves increasing product awareness, driving sales, and building strong relationships with clients while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote Pharmaceutical Products:

Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, pharmacists).
Present the benefits, features, and scientific data of products in an easy-to-understand manner.
Provide educational information to healthcare providers about the latest products and medical advancements.
Sales Generation:

Achieve sales targets and KPIs through effective promotion of pharmaceutical products.
Ensure sales growth in assigned territories or regions.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key healthcare professionals.
Handle customer inquiries and provide product information and solutions.
Offer continuous support and follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Market Analysis:

Gather and analyze market intelligence and competitor activities.
Provide feedback to the sales team and management on market trends and customer needs.
Monitor competitor products and sales strategies.
Training and Product Knowledge:

Continuously update knowledge on the pharmaceutical industry and the company’s product portfolio.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay current with product knowledge and sales techniques.
Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of calls, meetings, and sales activities.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance and customer feedback.
Monitor and report on sales activities, potential sales leads, and customer needs.
Compliance:

Ensure all promotional activities adhere to legal and ethical guidelines set by the company and regulatory bodies.
Stay updated on regulations, guidelines, and industry standards.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field (preferred).
Experience: Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales or promotion is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in customer service or sales can be beneficial.
