We are seeking a vigilant and highly skilled Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent observation skills, an aptitude for problem-solving, and a professional demeanor. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for preventing unauthorized access, responding to emergencies, and conducting regular security patrols. The goal is to maintain a secure and safe environment for all individuals within our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Safeguard the premises and personnel by patrolling regularly and monitoring surveillance systems
- Actively prevent unauthorized entry and promptly report any suspicious activities or incidents
- Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and assisting visitors, employees, and contractors
- Respond promptly to alarms or calls to investigate disturbances and determine appropriate actions
- Conduct regular inspections of doors, windows, and access points to ensure proper security measures are in place
- Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and shift reports
- Monitor and authorize the entry and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles
- Assist with emergency situations, such as fire evacuation, medical emergencies, or natural disasters, by following established procedures
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as necessary
- Stay updated on security best practices, procedures, and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Valid security license or certification
- Strong observation and surveillance skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
- Familiarity with security equipment and technology, such as CCTV systems and access control
