• Managing parts of construction projects
• Oversee building work
• Undertaking surveys
• Setting out sites
• Checking technical designs and drawing to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Supervising contracted staff
• Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets a timescales
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
• Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials
• Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience as Site Engineer in Interior Joinery Fit out Projects
• Diplo in Civil Engineering or equivalent and
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work; Work well under pressure
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Currently in UAE
• GCC experience is an advantage
