Job Description

Role Description:
The Pool Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the swimming pool area, ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for clients. This role exists to maintain high safety standards, manage pool staff, and ensure all pool activities and services run smoothly in compliance with local health and safety regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of pool cleane, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service at all assigned properties.
• Regularly inspect pools to check water quality, cleanliness, and safety, taking immediate action to resolve any issues.
• Provide training and support to new team members on pool maintenance, equipment uses, and safety procedures.
• Organize and coordinate daily cleaning schedules, optimizing routes and resource use for maximum efficiency.
• Maintain precise records of maintenance activities, including chemical readings and service reports, to ensure tra
nsparency for clients.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, taking necessary corrective actions during operations.
• Act as the main contact for clients, addressing any concerns and delivering top-tier customer service to strengthen relationships.
• Oversee inventory control of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring sufficient stock levels and timely restocking.
• Promote sustainable practices by incorporating environmentally friendly methods into pool cleaning operations.
• Conduct regular performance assessments of team members, providing feedback and guidance to improve skills and service quality.
• Demonstrate excellent driving skills to safely transport staff to and from job sites.


Candidate Requirements

Required Skills:
• Solid understanding of pool maintenance techniques, including water chemistry, filtration systems, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to operate and maintain pool cleaning equipment, including skimmers, vacuums, and chemical testing kits.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot pool equipment malfunctions.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure the cleanliness and safety of pool areas.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy pool equipment and bending or kneeling for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and provide clear instructions or explanations.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize and efficiently complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions and collaborating with other technicians or staff members.
• Good driving skills.
