As a Telephone Operator, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer service and ensure smooth communication between callers and the appropriate departments or individuals. Key responsibilities include:
Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally
Assisting customers with inquiries, requests, and providing accurate information
Directing calls to the appropriate person or department
Maintaining call logs and doenting customer interactions
Troubleshooting basic technical issues and escalating complex problems to the appropriate support team
Handling directory assistance requests and providing relevant information to callers
Providing exceptional customer service by demonstrating empathy, patience, and attentiveness
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in a customer service role (telephone operator experience is a plus)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of calls
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in using telephone systems and basic computer applications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Positive attitude, empathy, and a customer-focused mindset
