DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
I. EXPORT SHIPMENTS
• Booking of Transshipments to couriers ( DHL, FedEx, UPS)
• Preparing the labels
• Checking and packing the shipments
• Emails and calls to couriers and customers regarding existing shipments, quotations, or any others queries
• Coordinate with the managers from the different couriers regarding rates, new updates, expedite the process and some other support (like quotation, important cases)
II. IMPORT SHIPMENTS
• Attending calls and email from outside customers regarding sending shipments
• Register the import bookings via email
• Coordinate with Abbas regarding collections and deliveries
III. ONLINE PURCHASES
• Checking and processing the online purchase request from email and inform Ms. Faranak for approval and Mr. Biju for the payment
• Receive, check and pack the online purchases and sending it to the end customer as per PDE’s advise
• Prepare the daily report for Mr. Biju
IV. BILLING
• Consolidate all the shipments for the month and reconcile as per the bill sent by the couriers
• Checking the expenses related to shipments and online purchases
• Preparing the Bill for PDE’s monthly statement
• Coordinate with Accts for the payment of couriers (outstanding balances)
Must be proficient with Microsoft excel
Must have good communication skills
