Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes, ensuring presentation and flavor meet our high standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and refine menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of fresh ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in the kitchen and proper food handling procedures.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Exhibit creativity by experimenting with new recipes and plating techniques while staying true to our culinary vision.
- Oversee food preparation and timely service during peak hours, maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen.
- Contribute to menu planning and cost control efforts to achieve financial targets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef, with a strong culinary background.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Creativity in crafting visually appealing and delectable dishes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively lead and inspire the kitchen team.
- Ability to thrive in a high- pressure, fast- paced kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
