• Work under the directions of the Kitchen Manager
• Take individual responsibility of the station assigned.
• Responsible for the quality of food made in the station
• Responsible for quality and quantity controls and maintenance of set standards.
• Monitor dish washing area and ensure smooth operations of the same.
• Mise en place and prep
• Work in one or more of these stations (Store, grill, fryer, range, oven, salad, sandwich, dessert and coffee.
• Perform other opening, closing and hand over duties
• Pick up store
• Pre preparation and mise en place
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Gradua from a culina school preferred.
• At least two years in an upscale Americ style restaurant as a Commis.
• Familiar with cooking ranges, ovens, fryers.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Polished and presentable
