As a Demi Chef de Partie in Butchery, you will be assisting the Chef de Partie and other kitchen staff in obtaining and maintaining high standards per below:
• You will be in charge of receiving, inspection and inventory of meat items deliveries.
• You will be in charge of cutting large portions of meat including but not limited to beef, chicken, lamb as per the outlet needs.
• You need to properly monitor the storage of meats in freezers at the required temperature
• Coordinates with the production kitchen in terms of recipe requirements
• Ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition such as knives, meat saws and grinders.
• Maintaining clean workstation and follow sanitation requirements to avoid meat contamination.
• Strictly adhere to regulations and standards set by Dubai Municipality and HACCP
• You must have at least two years of work experience as a Butcher in Hotel or catering
• Must be communicate well in English
• Basic Knowledge in Computer
• Multi-tasking and can work under pressure
