FLORIST at the Flower Retail department
The Flower Retail department of Al Maktab Al Qatari Al Hollandi W.L.L. / Plaza Hollandi is looking for a florist for the flower shops.
TASKS
- Welcoming customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items, and providing advice or recommendations
- Performing a variety of tasks associated with the creation, display and sale of floral arrangements, plants and accessories
- Planning of arrangements according to the customer's requirements, utilizing knowledge of design and properties of materials, or select appropriate standard design pattern
- Informing customers about the care, maintenance, and handling of various flowers and foliage and indoor plants
- Taking orders in person and over the phone from customers, including special requests, delivery date and location and processing payment
- Assisting shop manager and creating flower display
- Responsible for sorting, organizing, cleaning and restock all supplies
- Bagging or wrapping purchases to ensure safe transportation
- Maintaining a clean workspace
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced knowledge of fresh floral produce and design techniques
- Skilled to provide specialized design and floral expertise to plan, design and create floral arrangements as per requirement of the customer
- Ability to write the order and to coordinate with the customer
- Willing and able to work in varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
