Promote a positive overall impression of the property and provide the necessary service of ensuring clean and comfortable rooms for guests.
· Prepares and files daily attendance sheet.
· Issues, receives, records and controls all departmental master keys, public area keys and store keys.
· Records and ensures prompt delivery of guest requests and extra items.
· Update the floor team with the room status on regular intervals and ensure all rooms are inspected before the arrival time.
· Attends to guests complaints and reports to Executive Housekeeper immediately.
· Ensure all overtime sheet, breakage and missing report are maintained on daily basis.
· Notice boards and files and records are well maintained on time.
· Performs duties and responsibilities in an efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.
· Prepares and a correct and complete handover of work for next shift.
· To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules and regulations established in the Employee handbook and the Hotel policy on fire, hygiene, Health & safety.
· To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniforms and name tag at all times.
· Performs any other duties as assigned to him or her by the management.
· Receives and log down all lost and found items.
· Follow up with the guests for any lost & found items delivery as per the standard procedures.
· All purchase request are made on time and follow up done for the receiving of the items.
· Records and maintains the maintenance requests for follow up to engineering department and proper follow up on the pending maintenance report.
· Ensuring all calls are attended as per the standard.
· Raises weekly guest supplies and cleaning supplies requisition and ensure all supplies are received and correctly distributed as per requisition per pantry.
