Responsibilities:
Conduct market research and build a network of suppliers in the packaging and furniture materials industry locally + globally.
Source and negotiate the best prices and terms for packaging and raw furniture materials.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and develop cost-effective strategies.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging procurement practices.
Requirements:
Proven procurement experience in sourcing packaging and raw furniture materials.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices in the industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain management.
Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain.
Experience in procurement for the industrial small shops market.
