We are looking to hire a customer-oriented restaurant supervisor to ensure that all restaurant operations run smoothly. The supervisor's responsibilities
● Perform related duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
● Training restaurant staff.
● Managing restaurant staff’s work schedules.
● Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
● Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.
● Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.
● Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.
● Review customer surveys and feedback to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.
● Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.
● Proven work experience as a supervisor in the hospitality industry.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
● Strong and effective management skills and take necessary disciplinary actions to address poor staff performance.
● Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
● Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
● Flexibility to work in shifts.
● Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift.
● A high school diploma; hospitality certification and food safety training are a plus
