Pool Maintenance Technician holds a significant role in maintaining the smooth operation and cleanliness of pools. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming debris, vacuuming pool surfaces, and emptying skimmer baskets.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues related to the swimming pool to ensure the system operates at its optimal level.
• Test and maintain proper chemical levels in pools, ensuring the balance of chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and other necessary chemicals.
• Monitor and adjust pool equipment, such as filters, pumps, and heaters, to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
• Clean and maintain pool filters, backwashing and replacing cartridges as needed.
• Identify and repair pool equipment malfunctions, leaks, or other issues promptly.
• Inspect and maintain the pool area, including pool decks, drains, and fences, to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of pool maintenance activities, chemical levels, and equipment repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and resolving any pool-related issues.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in pool maintenance techniques.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing pool maintenance tasks.
• Solid understanding of pool maintenance techniques, including water chemistry, filtration systems, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to operate and maintain pool cleaning equipment, including skimmers, vacuums, and chemical testing kits.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot pool equipment malfunctions.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure the cleanliness and safety of pool areas.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy pool equipment and bending or kneeling for extended periods.
