Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport passengers to their destinations in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience for passengers
- Greet passengers, assist with luggage, and help with any special needs or requests
- Follow pre-planned routes and adapt to alternative routes to avoid traffic or road closures
- Utilize navigation tools and knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns for efficient transportation
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained taxi, both inside and out
- Collect and process payment from passengers using cash or electronic payment systems
- Adhere to traffic rules, regulations, and safety protocols at all times
- Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle issues to the appropriate authorities or management
- Respond to customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, trips, and fares
- Elicit feedback from passengers to continually improve the customer experience
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a taxi driver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory
- Solid knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions and make accurate change
- Detail-oriented with good time management skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Fluency in the local language(s) is preferred
- Must undergo and successfully pass any required background checks or drug screenings
Working Conditions:
