•Ensure that all air, land and ocean import & export shipments clearance and delivery are completed in a timely manner.
•Oversee the preparation of the Customs import and export doentation.
•Ensure harmonized tariff research, binding rulings, protests, duty rates, and valuation on import shipments into the UAE are processed timely and efficiently in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
•Review and ensure import performance and transit time analysis reports are distributed appropriately internally.
•Ensure critical and accurate data is supplied to supply chain.
•Process and manage the flow of essential import doentation including Letters of Credit, commercial invoices and associated certificates, Country of Origin requirements, and communication and notifications to clients and vendors.
•Establish recordkeeping standards and oversee file maintenance in accordance with UAE Customs regulations and company policies.
•Ensure high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
