Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Manual Light Vehicle Driver with a valid UAE Driving License No. 3 to operate 3-ton pickup trucks and familiar with road safety regulations. This role involves transporting goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the vehicle in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
•Driving & Transport: Safely operate a 3-ton pickup truck, ensuring timely transportation of goods and materials to various locations across the UAE.
•Route Planning & Navigation: Plan efficient routes to ensure prompt deliveries, minimizing fuel consumption and travel time.
•Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintain the truck in optimal working condition. Report any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
•Delivery & Collection: Ensure goods are securely loaded and unloaded in compliance with safety standards. Handle deliveries professionally and efficiently.
•Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel usage, vehicle maintenance, and other necessary doentation.
•Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a professional manner during deliveries, addressing inquiries or concerns courteously.
•Safety Compliance: Adhere to all local traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols to ensure safe driving practices.
•Punctuality: Ensure deliveries are made on time, and report any delays or issues promptly to the supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills:
•Valid UAE Driving License No. 3 (light vehicle license).
•Experience: 1 to 2 years of driving experience in the UAE, with good knowledge of local roads and traffic laws.
•Vehicle Knowledge: Experience handling 3-ton pickup trucks.
•Communication: Basic proficiency in English or Arabic.
•Reliability: Punctual, responsible, and capable of working independently.
•Physical Fitness: Able to lift and carry goods as required for loadi.
•Clean Driving Record: No history of major traffic violations or accidents.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with manual transmission vehicles.
•Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle maintenance.
•Familiarity with GPS and navigation tools.
Compensation & Benefits:
•Salary: AED 1,800 to AED 2,000 per month, depending on experience.
•Overtime:
oAED 5 per hour for overtime worked until 12 AM.
oAED 8 per hour for overtime worked after 12 AM.
•Visa: Full company-sponsored visa.
•Health Insurance: Provided.
Nationality Preference: Indian, Sri Lankan, and Nepali candidates are preferred.
